Launch of a new digital platform to facilitate fundraising for microfinance institutions – Key features of Impetus


In order to facilitate fundraising, a new digital platform called IMPETUS, has been deployed by MFIN (Micro Finance Institution Network). The platform was launched in partnership with Mindstone Maven LLP.

“The decision has been taken to create a complete ecosystem for Microfinance Institutions in India. The online platform, IMPETUS exclusively for MFIN NBFC-MFI members, has been designed as a dynamic and interactive system to present the aspects quality and quantity of micro-lenders to a range of potential investors and lenders,” a company statement read.

Commenting on the launch, Alok Misra, CEO of MFIN, said, “The platform aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem, in which lenders and investors can have continuous access to updated, validated and curated information on MFIs. The platform also facilitates fundraising interactions between the MFI and lenders/investors.”
